About Me
I graduated in residence from Gemological Institute of America in 1981 with a Graduate Gemologist degree.
After graduating from GIA at the Santa Monica, CA campus, I worked the next 14 years for jewelry stores around Florida including Miami, Tallahassee and Fort Myers, doing appraisals, sales, and custom design.
Dominek Jewelry Appraisals Inc was established in 1995. Highly experienced in all types of appraisals, the company appraises all fine jewelry: diamonds, colored stones, watches, antique and period jewelry.
I am the only company exclusively doing appraisals in Southwest Florida (no buying or selling). I have worked with jewelry stores, lawyers, banks and estate planners throughout the area.

Dominek Jewelry Appraisals, Inc launched in 1995 as a Florida based company. Serving Lee and Collier counties we provide jewelry appraisal services for lawyers, private individuals, estate planners and insurance companies. Dominek Jewelry Appraisal does appraisals only, we do not buy or sell jewelry. Although we often assist clients in advising them on selling their jewelry.
